Most cakes can be made using gluten-free flour (though they need to be eaten up quickly!). This is also true of most of the party and novelty cakes. Some cakes have no flour anyway. If you offer gluten-free cakes at a party, then the guest who can’t eat gluten won’t feel left out, and the others probably won’t notice the difference.
